The Icebreaker workshop, initiated in 2017, is aimed at familiarising filmmakers with key aspects of the functioning of the film market in the country and abroad. The main topic of the first edition was distribution, the second financing of films, the third development. During conversations with Polish and foreign professionals, the participants have a chance to learn what each stage of making a film looks like in practice, what opportunities and risks it involves, what are the strategies of connecting the best possible artistic effect with good work organisation, or the correct preparation of the cost estimate.

The applications should be sent by 20 September to the Project Coordinator, Ola Salwa ([email protected]). The application form is available online. Participation in the workshops is free of charge, the organiser covers accommodation costs.
