About
Max Baumbacher hosts a talk show in which without hesitation he breaks his word given to his guests and asks them personal questions. He does not care much about other people, including his grown up child. Anyway, they do not have the best relationship with each other. When one day he wakes up and instead of speaking in his normal voice, he sounds like Ent of The Lord of the Rings or some other mythical creature, it is hard to say that he is delighted with it, although, as you know, the media love freaks and Max could carve out an extremely brilliant career. And yet, he runs away from the city and holes up in his agent’s house. Accidentally met, and half his age, tourist will bring chaos to Max’s life, but also the warmth that he misses so much, giving him hope that there is still room for change. This funny comedy drama does not take the world too seriously, although it tells the story of quite serious problems of a middle-aged man who finds himself in a situation in which without his vocal tool, there is not much left for him in his life.
