A graduate of the Direction of Photography and TV Production Department of the Łódź Film School, Olga Bieniek has cooperated with the Polish Television as production manager and producer since 1995. One of her recent credits is "Pułkownik Dąbek. Obrona Gdyni 1939", a docufiction film shown as a special screening at the 34th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, which she worked on as an independent producer. Most recently, she was the production manager on the set of "Czarny czwartek" ("Black Thursday" ) (director: Antoni Krauze, director of photography: Jacek Petrycki), which had its premiere in February 2011. Under FILMICON, she worked as producer and production manager of the feature "Układ zamknięty" ("The Closed Circuit") by Ryszard Bugajski and the documentary "Czarna skrzynka". Distinguished by Employers of Poland, an association, she was awarded its 2012 Vector Award for "courage in seeking to represent the truth about the problems that Polish entrepreneurs struggle with on a daily basis, faced with ruthless bureaucracy as well as for extraordinary determination which allowed for the making of the film "The Closed Circuit". Her other awards include the European Medal of the Business Centre Club and the Pomorskie Province Successful Woman Award.
