Ewa Olejniczak

Ewa can boast of excellent knowledge of the intricacies of European, Asian and modern cuisine. At age sixteen, she became a student of the gourmet chef - Kurt Scheller at the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw. In 2010, she received the position of the Head Chef, as the youngest (27 years old) woman in any hotel of the Sheraton's class, and she held this position as the only woman in Poland in a hotel complex of a 5 star category. At a charity auction, “Tastes good,” Ewa sold her dish for a record amount of over 50 thousand PLN. She was the first native chef at the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw. Moreover, she is a member (as one of two women in Poland) of the international organization "Woman In WACS.” Ewa also belongs to the National Association of Chefs and Confectioners. She has received many prestigious awards, including 2011 Starwood's EAME Journey Award in the category of F & B Excellence. Hotel InterContinental where she works received the highest award in the Michelin Guide 2013, as the best hotel in Poland, and was awarded "Travelers choice" by Tripadvisor in 2014. Ewa Olejniczak oversaw the organization and support of such special events, as the summit during the Polish Presidency of the European Union, which took place under the auspices of the Government Protection Bureau in Sopot, Sopot Cartoon Forum festival, Euro 2012, COP19 Climate Summit 2013. She has vast experience in the organization of catering and events for up to 2,500 people. Ewa was a guest juror in Polish competitions ("Ale pasztet," "Dorszowe Żniwa" in 2012) and speaker at the catering conferences, "Czas na zmiany," as well as host and expert in the culinary program, "Sąsiad na widelcu" in 2013. She graduated "Recent Spanish Culinary Trends and Techniques" course from the Hofmann Cooking School in Barcelona and Ernst & Young Academy of Business. She has participated and presented national dishes at the International Art of Gastronomy in Istria, Croatia.
